[Watch] A semi-spoilery trailer of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is causing a bit of a stir on social media

Believe it or not, the long-awaited The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is about a week and a half away from being released into the…wild. And you know what that means; spoilers, spoilers everywhere. Usually, it's the fans that are the ones doing the spoiling, but not this time. No, Nintendo has released a commercial over in Japan that shows off a number of story beats, some of which looks like they may make up some of the game's bigger set pieces.

As a result, Nintendo fans are taking to social media to either A) complain about the possibility that these are spoilers or B) debate and/or make fun of the ones doing the complaining. Nintendo doesn't seem to think that what was revealed is such a big deal as the Nintendo of America Twitter account made a post with what is arguably the largest "spoiler" in the entire trailer, Link running alongside a dragon in the open world.

As you can imagine, the reaction from the tweet is mixed, though it's still impossible to say one way or the other if this trailer is indeed "spoilery." What we do know is that Breath of the Wild is likely to be a pretty massive game, so it is conceivable that the game is packed with so much content that Nintendo is confident enough in its offering to show off these potential beats this close to release.

We really won't know for sure until we get our hands on the game, but until then, if you are not a fan of being spoiled, steer clear of anything and everything Zelda on the internet for a while.
