Universal revealed the newest trailer for Despicable Me 3 with the first look at a new character in Gru's twin brother Dru. Also played by Steve Carell (but in his real voice), Dru arrives to try and lure Gru back into the world of supervillains. Gru notes that he's left that world behind him, but reluctantly agrees to one last heist with his newly found brother.
Also in the trailer is a Star Wars easter egg that you'll need to be pretty quick to find. If you remember Gru's old lab assistant Dr. Nefario from the first two films, you'll notice him here. Absent from the first trailer, Nefario pops up in this one frozen in carbonite a la Han Solo. You can see it in the trailer above at the 2:33 mark on the left-hand side of the screen.
Despicable Me 3 will see Steve Carell rejoined by Kristin Wig as love interest Lucy, with Trey Parker (South Park) as the villain Balthazar Bratt. The film hits theaters on June 30th, 2017
