[Watch] First trailer for Jumanji: Welcome to the Trailer drops

We have heard about how the new Jumanji movie ditched the game board for a game console, but now we get to see the idea in practice. The trailer for the new 'Jumanji', titled Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, has released giving us a glimpse of what happens when a 90s film is rebooted in 2017.

Judging from the trailer it's something like 'Jumanji' meets 'The Breakfast Club' mixed with some key phrases from the turn of the the century like 'I can't even.' Overall, it looks like there's a chance for the film to be funny – you can check the trailer out above.

Description:

In the brand new adventure Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, the tables are turned as four teenagers in detention are sucked into the world of Jumanji.  When they discover an old video game console with a game they’ve never heard of, they are immediately thrust into the game’s jungle setting, into the bodies of their avatars, played by Dwayne Johnson, Jack Black, Kevin Hart, and Karen Gillan.  What they discover is that you don’t just play Jumanji –Jumanji plays you.  They’ll have to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives, or they’ll be stuck in the game forever…

The film is set to release on December 20th.
