Guerilla Games brought out some 4K Horizon: Zero Dawn gameplay during the PlayStation Meeting today, where the PS4 Pro and Slim made their official reveal. While they showed off 4K gameplay during the event, the developers reassured fans in a follow-up show that the game would be fully playable on the original PS4.
In the gameplay video, we get a look at our protagonist Aloy taking out a scout and climbing up a "tall neck" Shadow of the Colossus-style and hacking it. The gameplay must absolutely gorgeous in a 4K display, seeing as it looks pretty darn good in 1080p.
However, it should be noted that it's upscaled 4K display, not native 4K (thanks SpurnOfHumanity).
Horizon: Zero Dawn is set to release on February 28th, 2017. The game was delayed earlier this year following rumors that had been circulating since April, suggesting that the game's delay might be linked to the rumored PS4K (now known as PS4 Pro).
