[Watch] Mass Effect: Andromeda’s ‘Orientation Briefing’ let’s us in on a some backstory

EA has released a new trailer for the much-anticipated Mass Effect: Andromeda. This time, we're treated to more information on the backstory of the title. We know from other news that Mass Effect: Andromeda takes place 600 years after the adventures of Commander Shepard.

But this trailer confirms many people's theories of cryostasis travel, as FTL travel was essentially lost during Mass Effect 3. We also learn that many ships, called Arks, are part of this voyage, each housing various different races.

We essentially learn that the Andromeda Initiative was purposely sent through space to start life anew in another system. It's also safe to assume that the player character is part of a group called pathfinders, who are tasked with making sure the journey is successful.

Unfortunately, this trailer was NOT coupled with a release date, Although we know it to be somewhere in Spring 2017, but as soon as that news drops, information can be found here.
