[Watch] Pacific Rim Uprising gets second trailer… with Mecha-Kaiju?

The sequel to Pacific Rim has received a second trailer and this time, it features more than just Kaiju and Jaegers (the robots they control). It features an evil Jaeger and mech-Kaiju, too. The trailer introduces the cast with John Boyega as Jake Pentecost, the rebellious Jaeger pilot, his gifted rival Jaeger pilot, Lambert (Scott Eastwood), and the 15-year-old Jaeger hacker Amara.

In addition to the new cast, we see Mako Mori (Rinko Kikuchi) making a return, as well as Charlie Day.

On top of all of the humans, there are the Kaiju. This time, some the Kaiju are wearing armor and there’s an evil Jaeger to top it all off. The trailer teases that someone on the human side brought the Kaiju back to Earth.

Below, you can see the Mecha-Kaiju and the Evil Jaeger.

Pacific Rim 2 (Pacific Rim Uprising) has seen multiple delays and will not be helmed by Guillermo del Toro who manned the first film. The film is set to release on March 23rd.
