The PlayStation Experience was chocked full of big reveals, though probably none greater than The Last of Us Part II. Between the big games, Sony did fit in a few trailers of smaller indie titles that they have in the pipeline for the future. One of the most eye-catching of them was a one minute trailer of a little (big) game called Vane.
Vane is described as an "atmospheric adventure about unraveling the secrets of an unknown land, finding your place in it, and pulling at the threads of the world to make a change." One minute was not enough to glean much of anything about the game other than what it looked like, but later on, during the weekend, Rasmus Deguchi from developer Friend & Foe sat down and showed off the moment to moment gameplay during an 11-minute segment (seen above).
Vane has been in development for two years and appears set to release sometime next year. As you can see, the world of Vane is wide open for you to fly through as the crow and the goal of the team is to be able to tell a story simply by interpretation and exploration.
Vane does not currently have a concrete release date, but we will be keeping track of it and will let you know when we hear something.
