[Watch] Watch Dogs 2 is a week away, but you can watch the iconic launch trailer now

Ubisoft has never been one for respecting the definition of words. In their eyes, words like iconic and launch trailer are nothing more than coolness modifiers that are to be sprinkled over content in order to make it more attractive. Thus we have a new Watch Dogs 2 “launch trailer” from Ubisoft, a week before the game launches for PS4 and XB1on November 15. (PC gets the game on11/29)

The trailer is sure to excite Watch Dogs fans. It prominently features a group of hackers fighting the man, complete with hacking, a black man running from police in a potentially stolen vehicle, explosions, an angry masked black man with guns, the murder of innocent bystanders, and more hacking. Ubisoft really catches the rebel spirit of cyber terrorism.

All jokes and ball-busting aside, the trailer does present a grim near-future where surveillance has gone too far. You don't have to take my word for it. Watch it for yourself, and let us know what you think about Watch Dogs 2 in the comments section below:
