[Watch] XCOM-like Shock Tactics releases on PC alongside launch trailer

Earlier this week, the XCOM-inspired Strategy game, Shock Tactics released on PC and to celebrate the launch, developer Point Blank Games released an all-new in-depth trailer for the game showing off several facets. The trailer shows off fast-paced tactical combat, exploration, squad abilities, customization options, as well as some of the game's toughest enemies and bosses.

Here's the trailer:

In Shock Tactics, players take on the role of the leader of a small army of space pioneers, on a mission to scout and settle on a newly discovered planet. As you progress through the game, you must try to harness the power of mysterious alien technology that you find on the planet while engaging with its hostile denizens as well as a few space pirates and troops from the Imperial Consortium.

Shock Tactics is available now on Steam for $19.99.
