We might not be seeing Project Scorpio before E3 2017, says Xbox head

Since the reveal of Project Scorpio, Microsoft has repeatedly stated that the beefed up console would be releasing in 2017. They even reaffirmed this release window in their post focusing on what to look forward to this year.

Even though Project Scorpio is getting released this year, Xbox head Phil Spencer isn't so sure that we will be seeing the console before the biggest gaming event of the year – E3.

Taking took to Twitter Spencer revealed that he was “honestly not sure yet " on whether the Scorpio would make an appearance beforehand, but did clarify that he knew that people want to see it there. While this news might make some gamers concerned with the state of Scorpio, Spencer went on to clarify that the console was coming along just fine, saying that progress was  "absolutely, great" and that "1st party teams are getting engines up and tuned, great progress across studios."

Hopefully, that soothes any worries.
