Grand Theft Auto Online, the multiplayer portion of Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto 5, will release on October 1st. That's fine. We knew that for a while. Now that we're just a week away from its launch,t he big question is exactly at what time will you be able to log on to the game's servers and challenge your buddies to races or work together to pull of heists?
Turns out, not even Rockstar is too sure of when that will happen. In an update to a post revealing more details about the highly anticipated mode, Rockstar wrote, "We can’t yet confirm precisely what time on October 1st it will go live or any other specific details, but please stay tuned as we’ll have more information to provide before launch."
Regardless of when the servers go live, Rockstar also warned that the experience will be a bit shaky at first due to the sheer massive number of players that will likely log on. So basically, it's going to be a rough and you should expect some delays on the day of launch.
