Wii U system update 4.1.0 released; here’s what it does

Nintendo has released a new system update (version 4.1.0E) for the Wii U. Patch notes aren't too specific only confirming "further improvements to overall system stability" as well as "other minor adjustments… to enhance the user experience."

Unfortunately, this update doesn't appear to be the one that Nintendo president Satoru Iwata mentioned back in January — the one that will introduce a new "Quick Start" function that will supposedly halve the time it takes users to start up the Wii U game. Iwata acknowledged that it currently takes over 20 seconds from start-up to begin playing a game, admitting it "is not an ideal situation for users."

The new Quick Start function will arrive in another update this summer. As for today's update, let us know if you find anything specific that Nintendo hasn't mentioned.
