Win Microsoft Points through Gamer IQ Tests

Remember the Xbox Live Rewards system? It may be of particular interest to you this weekend, as it’s kicked off a Gamer IQ Trivia game where you can instantly win Microsoft Points and attempt to take home both a weekly prize and a massive 10,000 point prize.

Hit the Rewards website every day between now and May 15 to take part in the “Gamer IQ Trivia” scheme, where you’ll need to answer simple questions surrounding the Xbox 360’s biggest games. Randomly selected winners can pocket anywhere between 100 and 1,000 Microsoft Points, along with serious bragging rights to fellow gamers who aren’t involved.

This comes just days after Sony effectively canceled their own reward initiative after an extensive beta period, deciding against going public and instead pledging full support to PlayStation Plus. Microsoft’s swoop on the back of bad news for Sony fans will certainly give 360 users a welcome boost considering the basic structure of Xbox Live’s Reward system since its creation in late 2010.

The reward scheme is only open to United States and United Kingdom residents and, as previously mentioned, runs through to May 15. Enter as often as possible to better your chances of nabbing the grand prize of 10,000 MSP.
