It looks like the Beetlejuice sequel is more than just talk — it's actually happening and Winona Ryder will have a role in it. Director Tim Burton confirmed the sequel during Big Eyes and because of his admittance Ryder felt (nearly) comfortable enough to confirm it herself ."I think I can confirm it," Ryder tentatively said, before going on to say, "But I really don't know much more than anybody else."
The writer of the Beetlejuice sequel Seth Grahame-Smith has offered up details for the sequel in the past, saying that Michael Keaton would be back, but that 'less is more.'
It has been rumored since the inception of a Beetlejuice sequel that the film would have cameras rolling at some point this year.
If they're going to do it… It better be good. I don't need them going around ruining my youth.
