After teasing a Game of a Year Edition for the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, the 'Complete Edition' of the game has been revealed. The 'Complete Edition' will feature the 16 pieces of DLC and two expansions (Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine) that were released for the vanilla version of the game.
Unfortunately, players looking to make the jump from the base version of Witcher 3 will not be able to bring their saves with them to the Complete Edition. CD Projekt Red's community lead Marcin Momot took to the game's forums to make the announcement:
"The save files on consoles won't be compatible between different game versions (GOTY vs regular version) as they are treated by systems as separate products. This is something that's not up to us. Sorry."
The Witcher 3: Complete Edition is set to release on August 30th, with a retail price of $49.99.
