Shooting for Alcon Entertainment's Blade Runner 2 began back in July, but it appears as though a tragedy has already struck the set. A Hungarian construction worker, whose name was no released, was killed while dismantling a set for the film at Budapest's Origo Studios.
Filming had already wrapped up at the location so 2 sets were being dismantled. According to a report from Mashable, a set construct suddenly collapsed while the victim was working beneath it. The cause of the collapse has not been determined, but will likely be investigated.
Recently, it was announced that Jared Leto had joined the Blade Runner 2 cast which stars Ryan Gosling, Harrison Ford, Mackenzie Davis, Ana de Armas and Robin Wright.
Blade Runner 2 has no official title.
