Worms devs announce Flockers, first new IP in 10 years

The British developers at Team17 are moving away from their famous Worms artillery-strategy series and on to something new: a fresh intellectual property called Flockers.

Flockers will be the company's first new IP in over 10 years. Team17, which has acted as more of a digital publisher in recent years, announced the franchise at today's PlayStation Open Day event in Royal Leamington Spa, a town in Warwickshire, England.

"This is the most important game we've worked on in over a decade," said Team17's managing director, Debbie Bestwick.

More details will come next week.
