WWE ’13 not coming to Wii U or PS Vita

Despite a relatively close release to the launch of the Wii U, WWE '13 will not be available on Nintendo's new console.

Answering fan questions on Twitter, THQ's Cory Ledesma confirmed WWE '13 will not be heading to the Wii U. He also noted there were no plans to bring it to the Nintendo 3DS or PlayStation Vita either.

WWE '13 is set to release on October 30 for PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii. With a Wii U launch around the "holiday 2012" season, you'd think THQ would aim to bring one of their most popular games to the new console.

Aside from a few pre-order bonuses, news regarding WWE '13 has been relatively quiet. Legendary WWE commentator Jim Ross, who has spent some time working on the game, did say that new information about WWE '13 will be coming in August during SummerSlam weekend which is set to take place on August 18-19.
