Xbox Live promotes “Summer of Arcade 2012” with new trailer

I've gotta be honest, I'm a little disapointed to see that this year's Summer of Arcade really isn't helping out indie devs, featuring instead four Microsoft titles and the Tony Hawk reboot. Putting that aside however, it's obvious this summer is going to be packed with some sick downloadable awesomeness, and those who go for all five titles will likely qualify for the usual bonus that Microsoft throws in. Hybrid is a jetpack based FPS which could provide for some fun multiplayer, while Deadlight is a Metroid-inspired sidescroller which people are buzzing about. Wreckateer meanwhile, could be the next killer Kinect app, looking a lot like Angry Birds 3D. And of course if you want to gleam some cubes, why not take it to the curb with the Tony Hawk HD remake?

Oh uh, Dust looks good too.

Check out the trailer to see all five titles in action. Which one are you most excited to try out?

Trailer info: Get your first look at the five titles heating up this Summer of Arcade! Hybrid, Deadlight, Wreckateer, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD and Dust: An Elysian Tale are coming soon to Xbox LIVE Arcade.
