Xbox One controller, headset, and play and charge kit priced

Microsoft has revealed the official price for the Xbox One's wireless controller, Chat Headset, and Play and Charge Kit, all of which are now available for pre-order. Expect to pay more than what you're paying for current 360 accessories.

The Xbox One wireless controller is priced at $59.99; not a bad price if you don't mind replacing the AA batteries; however, if you want to avoid the hassle of battery replacement, you can opt for the Play and Charge Kit which will set you back $74.99. On its own, the extra charge kit costs the difference, or $24.99. Lastly, the Chat Headset is also priced at $24.99, and you may want to consider pre-ordering one now since Microsoft won't be including a headset with the Xbox One.

It's worth noting that each of the Xbox One's accessories cost $10 more than the price of their Xbox 360 counterparts. I guess those rumble triggers don't come cheap.

Comparatively, the PlayStation 4's DualShock 4 is also priced at $59.99. Although, the PS4 does come with a headset already included. And if you don't like the one included, the PS4 will support your PS3 wireless headset.
