Xbox One exclusive ReCore confirmed for Windows 10

Also, there's some funny business with the release date

Microsoft revealed ReCore as an Xbox One exclusive during E3 2015. The game, developed by the studio that brought us Metroid Prime and game producer Keiji Inafune, has largely been hidden behind a shroud of mystery. We have had a look at the reveal trailer (seen above) and box art, but other than that we haven't heard much.

According to Microsoft's Corporate Vice President of Marketing for Xbox, Mike Nichols, ReCore will not be limited to the Xbox One, but will also be coming to the PC via Windows 10.

In a post reviewing Microsoft's accomplishments with Xbox One in 2015, Nichols gave us a look at the games that had been announced for a 2016 release on the Xbox One. This list included games along with their release dates (or release windows) that Microsoft had previously announced.

ReCore, a game previously listed for a Spring 2016 release, is listed as being available on the Xbox One and Windows 10 in 2016. What's interesting about this is the lack of 'Spring' ahead of 2016, where other games still retain their 'Spring 2016' or 'Fall 2016' release.

It seems as though the removal on 'Spring' for ReCore might suggest that the game has been hit with a stealthy delay. There has been no confirmation of this as of yet, but we will keep you informed as soon as we know.
