Xbox One has nine exclusive ‘blockbusters’ coming this holiday season

When it comes to the console war between Sony and Microsoft, you often hear that PlayStation has the "better" exclusives. Xbox One may be marketed as an "all-in-one" entertainment hub, but make no mistake about it, Microsoft is focused on games this holiday season. So much so, that the platform holder created a post today: "Xbox One to Offer Largest and Most Critically Acclaimed Line Up of Games for Holiday 2014."

Granted, most of the post is fluff from E3 media, but at the bottom Microsoft lists nine exclusive "blockbuster games" hitting Xbox One by this Holiday 2014 season. They are:

  • Halo: The Master Chief Collection (includes Halo 5 Guardians multiplayer beta)
  • Sunset Overdrive
  • Forza Horizon 2
  • Ori and the Blind Forest
  • Dance Central Spotlight
  • Disney's Fantasia: Music Evolved
  • Project Spark
  • Killer Instinct: Season 2
  • Fable Legends (multiplayer beta)

Keep in mind, this list is just exclusives. In addition to this list, there are a number of third-party blockbuster games including Assassin's Creed Unity, Alien Isolation, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, Destiny, and Battlefield: Hardline. You can check out the full list over at Xbox Wire.
