Xbox One holiday price cut now in effect

$50 discount on any Xbox One console or bundle

The temporary $50 discount on Xbox One consoles is now in effect for the holidays.

The limited-time promotion, which began yesterday and runs through January 3, 2015, takes $50 off the normal Xbox One price tag, bringing the standalone console down to $349 in the U.nited States. The discount also applies to any Xbox One special edition bundles that have already been announced, including Assassin's Creed Unity, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, and Sunset Overdrive.

The promotion is available nationwide at most major retailers in the U.S. including Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, Microsoft Stores, Target, Toys 'R Us, and Walmart. Here's a look at some of the bundle offerings:

  • Xbox One Assassin's Creed Bundle ($349) and Xbox One Assassin's Creed Bundle with Kinect ($449). Includes: Assassin’s Creed: Unity as well as Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag on Xbox One. The Xbox One Assassin’s Creed Bundle with Kinect also includes Dance Central Spotlight.
  • Xbox One Special Edition Sunset Overdrive Bundle ($349). Includes: a sleek white Xbox One console and wireless controller, a digital copy of the game, and special Day One edition in-game items.
  • Xbox One Limited Edition Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Bundle ($449). Includes: a 1TB hard drive, custom console, custom controller and Limited Edition exoskeleton, plus a digital copy of the Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Day Zero Edition.
