The people have spoken and Microsoft's Xbox One has been voted as the 2014 "Product of the Year" for Home Entertainment. Sales may indicate PS4 be better suited for the award, but there's no denying — with Microsoft's increased efforts in offering an all-in-one entertainment machine — that the Xbox One is a leap in home entertainment, offering owners instant access to TV, games, music, movies, sports and apps.
Being relatively new in the U.S., Product of the Year winners are chosen via a survy performed by market research firm TNS. This year, the survey saw responses from more than 40,000 consumers.
