At Microsoft's E3 in June, Sunset Overdrive was easily the most intriguing Xbox One game for me — this was based only on the brief trailer they showed, mind you. Still, the overall style and tone just spoke to me. Hey, when you know, you know.
Point being, very little of Sunset Overdrive has been talked about lately. Outside of that initial announcement, not much about the game has been revealed — leading many to believe it still may be far out from release.
Well, actually, it's seemingly closer than we all think — like sometime in 2014 close. Over on Xbox Wire, in Microsoft's Xbox One launch post, the platform holder confirmed three games still set to release in 2014: Titanfall and Project Spark — which we already knew — and Sunset Overdrive.
Again, not much else is known about Sunset Overdrive except that it's being developed by Insomniac Games as an Xbox One exclusive, and that it looks a heck of a lot like what Fuse used to be (when it was known as Overstrike) and not what it was released as.
