Microsoft has been teasing the Xbox One's March update since the month began and it's finally releasing on the Xbox One and Xbox App today!
The Xbox One update will bring the following new features to the Xbox One:
- Purchase Xbox 360 Backward Compatible games on Xbox One
- Include Party Chat in Twitch broadcasts
- Output your Party Chat to headset and speakers simultaneously
- Customizable Game DVR recording length
- Reputation rating interface changes
- Compare your Avatars
- Follow web links and YouTube videos from Game Hubs
- Xbox 360 Achievements in Xbox One and Xbox app Activity Feeds
- 16-person Party Chat
- Track Achievement progress in the Xbox One guide:
- Video playback directly in the Xbox One Activity Feed
- Gamerscore Leaderboard (Xbox App)
- Updated ‘Featured’ section (Xbox App)
Preview members have had access to a majority of the new features, but there are a couple features that will be new to preview members in the update.
