With Microsoft announcing sales for the Xbox One today, we now have a better idea for how the first round of console sales are shaping up in the ol' "Xbox One vs PS4" war. The Xbox One, which released in 13 markets on November 22, has sold over two million units worldwide. Comparitively, the PlayStation 4 has sold over 2.1 million units in its launch markets (as of December 1); it was released in North America on November 15 and in Europe on November 29.
Unfortunately, there are still too many variables and unknowns to really crown a winner for the first round, so IGN has turned to world-renowned news anchor, Ron Burgundy. Let's see what he has to say on the topic.
Personally, I like his idea of thinking of these consoles as different women that you can play. Sexist? You bet, but I wouldn't have Ron any other way. Anchorman 2 is due out in theaters on December 18, 2013.
