Xbox Play Anywhere to launch on September 13th

Microsoft has confirmed that the Xbox Play Anywhere service that was announced during this year's E3 press conference will launch on September 13th.

Play Anywhere will allow gamers to purchase a game on either PC or Xbox platform and play it on whatever platform they so choose. For example, as part of this programme you would be able to buy the new Forza Horizon 3 game on Xbox One, log into your PC and also play it there as well.

Downloadable content that has been purchased for Play Anywhere games will also be accessible on both platforms.

This deal will require you to have the upcoming Windows 10 update on your PC, which is set to roll out at the beginning of August.

Just recently Microsoft announced a list of games that would definitely be included in this service. If you would like to see that list of Play Anywhere games, simply click here.
