It appears as though Microsoft is gearing up to bring new features to the Xbox One Preview Program for members to test out. A now deleted post on Xbox Preview forums from Microsoft's Larry Hryb has details on what the update will bring when it launches.
Unfortunately, we don't know when the update will come. However, we do know what it will bring, thanks to a Redditor who snapped screenshots of the post.
"I'll have the real post up when the features are ready for preview," wrote Nelson on Reddit. "No ETA yet though."
Here's what the update will bring:
Clubs on Xbox Live:
"Clubs are gamer-created and managed groups that can help you meet people and grow communities."
Club members will be able to chat, set up parties, play games and share content with other Club members on the Xbox One and Xbox App devices.
Note: No two club names can be the same, it's first come, first serve.
Looking for Group (LFG) on Xbox Live:
LFG will work with any title on Xbox Live that has a game hub and will help you find other players to help you out in a game or simply play a game with you. When creating a LFG post you will be able to specify requirements, like which game, the game mode, how many people you need, establish rules (like no trash talking) or in-game requirements like level, gear or character type.
Improved Gamerscore Leaderboard:
The Leaderboard will now reset at the beginning of the month and only display stats for that month.
Emojis for you Xbox One virtual keyboard:
Self-explanatory. Emojis will appear when you pull the right trigger while in the virtual keyboard.
