Xseed publishing mobile game for smartphones

The fan-favorite publisher that brings a lot of niche games to nonnative territories like the U.S. is working on a mobile game.

Siliconera has spotted a job posting at Xseed Games for a mobile online game operations manager, who will "[maintain] the smooth operation of a presently in-development mobile title, which would include managing a development team, planning for updates, executing events and campaigns, and ensuring budget requirements are met," among other responsibilities.

Xseed also mentions that this is a smartphone game, and the emphasis on candidates with Japanese language proficiency indicates that the game may be of Japanese origin.

This is a major turn for the company, which often deals with handheld and console games. But I'm glad to see them giving the platform a chance.

So … any guesses on the game?
