Yoshi's New Island, first revealed back in April 2013, will be available for the Nintendo 3DS on March 14, Nintendo announced today.
In the game, Yoshi reunites with Baby Mario to help him to safety. It will use a number of the 3DS' features to provide a new and unique experience, but players will also see the return of Yoshi's classic flutter jumps, ground pounds, and egg throws.
Yoshi's New Island is being produced by Takashi Tezuka, the creative director of the original Yoshi’s Island for Super NES, and will be available both in stores and in the Nintendo eShop for digital download.
