You can get Dead Space for free at Origin as EA debuts “On The House” program

In the event you never got around to picking up Dead Space, EA is making things a little more enticing. The game is currently available for free…

…on Origin. It’s all a part of EA’s new “On the House” program. There’s no catch, as the FAQ states, except for the fact that these specials will appear and disappear at will. If you have any desire to pick it up you shouldn’t delay. Just because it’s available now doesn’t mean it will be in the next hour.

Origin now joins both Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network as platforms that are giving gamers free copies of full games. The digital marketplace continues to grow. Whether or not Origin’s latest deal can sway people’s opinions of the service, however, remains to be seen.
