Whether your an out-of-luck Android user or just plain too cheap to pony up the $1.99 on iOS, everyone can now enjoy Threes thanks to a browser-based clone of the addicting puzzle game.
Originally released exclusively for iOS devices by Greg Wohlwend and Asher Vollmer, Threes presents a puzzle game that simple in premise but complex in nature. You slide numbers around a four-by-four grid to create larger numbers, all divisible by three. One and two make three, three and three make six, six and six make twelve, and so on and so on. Your goal is just to achieve the highest score possible.
Brought to us by Angela Li, the browser version is basically the same in concept but doesn't have all the flash and pizzazz of the iOS game. It's still a fun play, though, and you still have the option to play the game's music.
