You Might Be Able to Import Shadow of Morder’s Nemesis into Middle-Earth: Shadow of War

Miss your Orc pal, Douche Rat? Bring him with you!

With extensive gameplay footage of Middle-earth: Shadow of War being released, fans of Shadow of Mordor will instantly think back to their experiences in the first Monolith title. But when GamesRadar asked about the possibility of transferring saves from the old game to bring in our old orcs, Monolith Productions creative vice president Michael de Plater played coy.

"Oh… I don't remember what we're allowed to say about that […] We're not saying anything at this time."

Well, if that's not an information tease, we don't know what is. A flat-out no would have meant all new orcs with no questions asked. But a "we're not saying anything" could possibly mean even more than a simple "Yes."

A lot has happened in Mordor since the beginning of the first game. Luckily, Tolkien Orcs/Uruk-hai have a tendency to not stay dead, even when they seem very, very dead when you leave them. This makes it very possible to see your randomly generated, nasty, ugly little pets from the first game again in terms of lore.

While this isn't a confirmation of a feature, it certainly is exciting. When/if it is, GameZone will update.
