Yea, read that headline. Seriously, even if you never plan on playing it, doesn't everyone that would want Borderlands 2 already own it through one of the bajillion sales its been on, including the Steam Summer Sale? I guess that's not the case, because a Borderlands 2 Game of the Year Edition is releasing worldwide this October for PC, Mac, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
The bundle was leaked yesterday, but Gearbox Software announced today that it will be available on October 8 for North America and October 11 internationally. The Game of the Year Edition will cost $59.99. It includes the main game with all of the additional gameplay content and DLC from the Season Pass and Premier Club Content. Here's everything in it:
- Captain Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty
- Mr. Torgue's Campaign of Carnage
- Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt
- Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep
- Creature Slaughter Dome
- Gaige, the Mechromancer class
- Krieg, the Psycho class
- Gearbox Gun Pack
- Golden Key
- Vault Hunter's Relic
- Collector's Edition Heads and Skins
- Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack 1
I think I got all of that for, like, $20 on Steam, but this is still over $100 of additional gameplay content, combined with the game, for $60.
