While we patiently await word on the upcoming PlayStation 4.5 or "Neo", Sony's president Shuhei Yoshida took to the Sony PlayStation’s ACGHK 2016 VR press conference to talk about everything VR. During the conference, Yoshida clarified a couple things for the PSVR.
It should be noted that the upcoming PlayStation console was not mentioned during the event.
First of all, you won't need the more powerful PlayStation console to run play games with your PSVR headset. "All the PSVR (and future) titles will be playable on (normal) PS4" said Yoshida. This is great news for anyone who invested in PSVR bundles early on.
Sony may have been marketing their PSVR headset to gamers (for the most part), but that's not the only person they envision playing the game. "We believe that everyone can enjoy the entertainment content on PSVR … Not just gamers, but a lot more people enjoy PSVR" added Yoshida.
