The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has recently launched its first DLC, The Master Trial, which we've detailed here. But today, Nintendo has revealed more information about the second DLC, the story-driven expansion Champions' Ballad.
Nintendo of Europe tweeted a video teasing the next DLC, which you can see below. But recently, Eiji Aonuma, the game's producer, talked at a Zelda Masterclass at the Japan Expo in Paris, France. He states that the DLC will have more narrative details and even though we still play as Link, we will learn a lot more about Zelda's character.

There has been two Legend of Zelda books so far. One, the Hyrule Historia, focuses on the history of the series, while the other focuses on art. Being that Breath of the Wild is so large, the new book will focus primarily on the artwork from the single game alone.
Nintendo has said the Champion's Ballad DLC will add "new challenges that will let players enjoy a new dungeon and a new original story." It will launch Holiday 2017. The DLC comes in three parts, one of which is already released, and the entire pack is on sale for $20 on the Nintendo Switch eShop.
