The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been a wild success, to say the least. It will be receiving its first DLC pack tomorrow, which expands the world and offers more costumes, challenges and other items. We've even found out how big the DLC will be in megabytes.
In this corner, Master Trials weighs on the Nintendo Switch at 456MB for the Japanese version. According to Reddit user Tonicodrea, this is roughly the expected size for all international versions as well. 456MB is not that big, so for those with a MicroSD card, it shouldn't be much of an issue. In fact, those with a lighter downloaded title library, this would even fit comfortably on the default system storage.
This same statement doesn't hold true for Wii U however. Apparently, last generation's system will host a 3.7GB monster of a DLC. Currently, it's unknown why this is, given that the full game itself is 13GB on both consoles. The discrepancy doesn't initially make sense.
Don't know what's coming in this new DLC pack? Luckily, Nintendo gave an overview of it at E3 this year.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild's DLC pack 1: Master Trials launches on June 30.
