8 awesome, but totally unrealistic characters want in Mortal Kombat’s Kombat Pack #2

Pinhead

Pinhead is the classic Hellraiser character from the 80's movies about basically unleashing hell on earth by opening a simple box. Pinhead was the main antagonist of the films and is pure evil. With others 80's characters such as Freddy and Jason already in the mix, Pinhead would be an awesome addition. A British soldier who was captured by demons after solving the box, he becomes Pinhead and face of the Cenobites. Using the puzzle box to unleash hell upon an enemy would make for a cool fatality.

Deadpool

Deadpool is perhaps the most sarcastic, badass, and straight-up coolest super hero of all time. After an experiment goes wrong, Wade Wilson is transformed to a near indestructible super hero with incredible healing abilities and expert martial arts skills. The guy can chop bullets in half as they're flying at him for crying out loud. With the new film coming out next year, his dual swords, guns and martial arts skills would make a seamless transition into MKX. And besides, imagine the dialogue he would have both pre-fight and during the matches with the X-ray moves. Awesomesauce.

Mortal Kombat X's second Kombat pack is set to arrive in early 2016 and no information has been revealed yet by Ed Boon or NetherRealm. Hopefully, they take our suggestions and add these characters into the game. Who do you want added into the game? Let us know below.

Alien

I know, Predator is in Mortal Kombat already so Alien has to be in it, right? What they should do is make some Prometheus skins for Alien and spice it up a little by adding some of those attacks into the game. Remember, Prometheus is the spiritual prequel Alien. Throw in some of those hatching egg monsters from Prometheus, freaky ass claws and teeth that would rip you apart. Boom, you're in business. Not to mention the fact that a fight on board the Alien ship would make for an awesome level.

Arkham Knight

With Warner Bros.' connections with DC comics already, Arkham Knight would be pretty cool in Mortal Kombat. He can fight and is good with guns. His new tech weapons and martial arts skill would be a sweet addition after his little run in with Bruce Wayne. The franchise has already shown that you don't need weapons in order to be successful as Johnny Cage is a staple of the game.

Terminator (Terminator)

Hey, he's in WWE 2K16 so why not Mortal Kombat? There could be multiple skins like classic Arnold, T-11 robot skin, etc. Remember, the Terminator is able to transform his body into whatever weapon he wants, especially if they use the enemy terminator from T2. Calling in a Sky-net missile launch onto Scorpion's head, ripping their body apart in a time warp, that sweet transforming arm into a blade. There are a number of options to make Terminator workable in Mortal Kombat X, and an Arnold voice over would make a good add-on.

Ash Williams (The Evil Dead)

The Evil Dead hero would be great for Mortal Kombat X. With weapons such as Necronomicon, metal hand or chainsaw fist, it is almost a perfect fit. Not to mention, soul stealing is already in the Evil Dead. Mortal Kombat X, especially with three move sets for each character, is all about different styles and Ash fits the bill. Just like Marcus Fenix, he also has a sawed off shotgun that you know Ed Boon and company would make use of in the fatality department

With guest characters nearly a lock for Mortal Kombat X's Kombat Pack #2, coming next year, we decided to take a look and think of some characters we would love to see make an appearance. Although fun, these characters additions into the game are extremely unrealistic.

With NetherRealm already stating they would not have console specific characters, we included two off the bat we would like to see make the cut.

Needles Kane, aka Sweet Tooth (Twisted Metal)

The flaming head and muscular tone of Twisted Metal's deranged clown are perfect for Mortal Kombat. With the Kombat pack holding four characters, Sweet Tooth could be a PlayStation exclusive (which won't actually happen because NetherRealm has already ruled out console-exclusive characters). But imagine if they did allow it. A complete and uttter psychopath, his classic Sweet Tooth ice cream truck could surely be integrated into the game as a fatality special and the X-ray moves it could give us would be a thing of beauty. An insane clown that goes on a rampage killiing innocent civilians with flaming head and homicidal ice cream truck — if that's not Mortal Kombat I don't know what is.

Marcus Fenix (Gears of War)

Marcus Fenis, the Gears of War head honcho would be the perfect Xbox One exclusive character. With plenty of weapon possibilities, like the torque bow and the lancer assault rifle with chainsaw bayonet, it's a perfect fit for the game. Not to mention the non-chalant, sarcastic attitude he has when he talks, how awesome would it be to see someone get chopped to pieces with the chainsaw bayonet, Marcus turn around and pretend to walk away only to look back, fire a torque bow and have the body explode with heart flying in the air just to see him blast it with the Gnasher shotgun as it's about to hit the ground? Sickest. Fatality. Ever.

Mike Boccher

Just a guy lucky enough to talk about games with you fine people. "Don't ever tell anybody anything, when you do, you start missing everybody".
