Acclaim Receives Nasdaq Delisting Notice

Video game publisher Acclaim Entertainment Inc.said it had received a letter from the Nasdaq
indicating its stock is in danger of being delisted.Glen Cove, New York-based Acclaim said it
was notified that because its stock has closed below $1 for 30 consecutive trading days, it does
not meet minimum bid requirements.

The letter also states that if compliance cannot be demonstrated by July 23, 2003, Nasdaq will
determine whether the Company meets the initial listing standards for The Nasdaq SmallCap
Market, and if the Company meets that criteria it will be granted an additional 180 day grace
period in which to demonstrate compliance. Acclaim also said it could appeal any such ruling.
