Activision confirmed today to Joystiq that Shaba Studios, developer of Spider-Man: Web of Shadows, has officially been closed down. Sources from within the developer reveal that 30 employees – half of the workforce – have also been let go.
Along with Web of Shadows, Shaba also worked on games such as Shrek Superslam, Tony Hawk’s Underground 2 Remix for the PSP, and Mat Hoffman’s Pro BMX.
