An Update to Home Beta Brings A Few New Features

Sony has released update version 0.7.7 to PlayStation Home and with it has brought some neat little goodies.

  • Players are given the option to launch a game from within Home, however it is not operating at 100% just yet.
  • A new building has been erected in the world, although currently entrance is not permitted. Its purpose has yet to be determined.
  • Players are now able to enter the patio of their own Home Space.
  • The cinema’s movie theaters have transferred to the first floor, as opposed to the previous location on the second floor.
  • Players are able to upload their own personal photos to their own Home Space.
  • All major territories, American, Japan and Europe are now operating on their own personal servers.

While Sony has yet to get Home completely off of the ground, they are working hard to complete their grand vision. Hopefully Sony will be able to complete what aspects to Home are still missing, as PS3 owners are eagerly awaiting their version of Microsoft’s Xbox Live. Currently Home is slated to make its full debut sometime Spring 2008. AMN will keep you updated.
