Despite the gutting of developer Realtime Worlds and the shutdown of the game’s servers, currently defunct MMO APB: All Points Bulletin can still be found for sale at big-box retailers – at full price! Apparently someone at this particular retailer didn’t get the memo about the game no longer being playable (at least as of this moment – there have been rumors that the game was in the process of being purchased by another publisher, though nothing has been formerly announced).
This photo was taken today during a routine shopping trip in my hometown. Hopefully no one purchases the game by accident, as most retailers have return policies against open software. Be careful out there!
