Why we chose it: In a world where two brothers can peacefully co-exist as our favorite plumber-duo, things cannot go wrong. However, things can go wrong when they have to babysit their infant selves. With a hilarious storyline full of colorful characters, plenty of nostalgia-inducing details, and innovative gameplay that takes the Mario RPG formula to new heights, we really cannot ask for more. This is definitely the best RPG of the year, and a worthy follow-up to a superstar production.
