Is Nintendo going to drop a bomb on Wii owners this fall? As of this moment, we aren’t sure. Many are hopeful, but they have no concrete foundation to stand on. Despite there being nothing but darkness in the world of Nintendo core owners, there may be light coming in this fall. GameStop CEO, Don Dematteo, expressed an interesting tidbit of information about Wii.
If we are to believe what he says, then Nintendo may have a surprise for us at E3.
“We think there will be a Nintendo key property coming out by the end of the year,” he says. “They haven’t given us any insight, but they have told us to reserve [shelf] space.”
Could it be a new Zelda title? It’s been rumored that Nintendo has been working on a new Zelda title for Wii. At this time, we can do nothing but speculate. Whether it be a new Zelda or a WiiFit add-on, Nintendo has something coming to us. Let’s hope it’s something us gamers will enjoy.
