Bleszinski Teases Gears of War 3 E3 Demo on Twitter; Threatens Justin Bieber

Cliff Bleszinski goes by the pseudonym “therealcliffyb” on Twitter. After this move, he should probably change his Twitter name to “therealcliffybastard.” He posted a link to a twitpic with the description, “EXCLUSIVE first screenshot of our Gears of War 3 #e3 demo!” However, the picture was nothing more than the pause screen — which included the option to invert the y-axis.

Looks like Bleszinski is having a bit of fun with Gears fans before the big E3 show.

The blurry image looks like it was taken with a cell phone camera from 2004, which suggests that Bleszinski has acquired the ability to time travel.

The teasing didn’t end with grainy cell phone photography. In a follow up tweet the Epic game designer said, “we’re revealing the newest edition to the #Gearsofwar3 cast tomorrow – A super talented artist who is exploding on the scene. Guesses?”

Of course he could only be referring to one person — Justin Bieber.

Well, apparently not, “no it’s not the Bieber. But if it was I’d have a special death for his character.” Confirmed, Unbelibers will not get the chance to murder Justin Bieber with a unique death animation in Gears of War 3. Then why are they even making it?
