NCL confirmed many peoples beliefs today by announcing 4 new colors to the existing DS lineup. The colors, black, white, turquoise, and pink will all be available in the coming months. The first to additions to be available are the black and the white versions which will make their debut on March 24th, while those anxiously awaiting the turquoise or pink models will have to wait almost an additional month to April 21st. Both products would be priced at 15,000 yen, approximately $149.99.
Nintendo of America has yet to comment on the issue of multiple DS variants. However, it isn’t farfetched that DS will receive some sort of aesthetic addition in America. Consumers looking forward to a colored DS should check back in the coming weeks as more information becomes available.
