Dark Souls II Boss Guide: Guardian Dragon

Like a caged bird, this Dragon wants nothing more than to flay your face off and scorch your flesh. Here's a tip, don’t let him. When he jumps on the side of the cage, run directly under him to avoid the breath attack. If he flies straight up, run to the sides because he scorches the middle. When he’s on the ground, try to bait out his forward fire attack. If he goes for it, break your lock on him and run to the sides to avoid. This is the best time to punish him. I found it best to stay under his feet and dodge his tail, bite, and stomp combos to get the most hits in possible. I’d imagine if you’re a ranged or magic class, this fight will be a lot easier.
