Dead Rising 2’s High Stakes Edition Offers Chance to Win 6′ Tall Zombie

Are you really excited about Dead Rising 2? Like, superfan excited? Is the Zombrex version of the game just not enough for your taste? Do you need more goodness, more zombies, more Fortune City-ness to your special edition? We could go on and on, because yesterday Capcom announced a ridiculous special edition for Dead Rising 2, the “High Stakes Edition.”

The high stakes edition is only available in North America and it can only be purchased through the Capcom game store. But what is encompassed in the high stakes edition is a serious cornucopia of goodness. I mean freaking tons.

First of all, and probably most unique of all the offers, is the opportunity to win a six-foot tall zombies wearing a Hawaiian shirt. Sweet, right? Imagine freaking out your neighbors with a life-size zombie in your yard?!?

Here’s everything that is included in the High Stakes Edition:

– Dead Rising 2 Game (Xbox 360 or PS3)

– Poker set in a black high-impact case sporting the Fortune City logo including:

– 100 poker chips – 4 different colors featuring the Fortune City logo

– 2 decks of ‘blood-stained’ custom playing cards featuring character art

– 5 green dice

– 1 ‘blood-stained’ dealer chip

– Fortune City Visitor Map featuring the game map and ads for Fortune City locations and attractions

– Terror Is Reality XVII admission ticket with redemption code for the unique Psycho skills pack DLC, which contains the Psycho costume which gives you new abilities, new attacks and heavier damage for psycho-related weapons, such as Chainsaw, Figure Axe, Machete, Meat Cleaver, and more

And one lucky recipient will find a ‘Golden’ Terror Is Reality XVII admission ticket which can be redeemed to get “Burt the Zombie.”

This is pretty much a zombie-collector’s dream. An open-world, zombie-killing game, a plethora of mementos from the game’s Vegas-inspired city, and the ability to win a life-size zombie statue.

Almost every game today is released in numerous versions for fans, but this one goes over the top. It will run just $89.99, which, compared to some other special editions, isn’t too bad. Did you check out the photos of Burt the Zombie above? If not, here’s one more:
