Deadly Creatures Suffers Deadly Delay

Now here’s some news that might make a hardcore Wii owner cry. Or perhaps let out a breath of relief, depending on how one feels about creepy-crawlies like tarantulas and scorpions.

Third-party publisher THQ confirmed to IGN today that its Wii-exclusive action title, Deadly Creatures, has been delayed. The game will now ship for Nintendo’s console in February of 2009, according to the company.

This marks the second delay for the game, originally set for an October 31 ship date and then repositioned for a mid-December release. — IGN

I guess the game, in which you take control the above-mentioned nasties, has found an even more deadly creature with which it didn’t want to contend: The holiday glut of titles.
